Through continuous improvement in our agricultural planting systems, we optimize every stage of growth – from soil preparation and seed selection to irrigation and nutrient management – ensuring healthy crops and consistently producing top-class mealies of superior quality.
To ensure the best possible yields, Alzu conducts annual cultivar trials on various mielie strains. These trials help identify the most adaptable and high-performing varieties suited to the region’s conditions. All crops are cultivated using modern precision farming techniques to maximise efficiency, sustainability and quality.
The mielie crop forms the backbone of feed production at Alzu Feeds, which supplies high-quality feed for Alzu’s own cattle operations, layer feeds for Alzu Eggs and specialised game feeds for Care for Wild.
